“The Great Resignation” Impact on Health care

According to Morning Consult, one in five health care workers have quit their jobs since February 2020.

When you pair that with the looming possibility of vaccine mandates, that 25% void can rapidly increase, some of the hardest-hit industries concerning employee resignation have been food service, retail, and health care, based on the Bureau of Labor Statistics August 2021 report.

These voids will necessitate changes.  Employers everywhere will need to find a way to 1) attract employees and 2) become more efficient to operate better with fewer hands.  In the end, a better product will result, but the process will be complex.

Where to start?  Look internally first.  Finding the proper process and technology will increase efficiencies and revenue to free up resources to procure the right talent.  Talk with us if you need a partner to help create the process and provide the right technology.  MedCom has been helping our clients make efficient charge processes and find lost revenue for decades, and we believe we can bring the same value to you.
